New Hobby in 2019: Journaling

At the end of 2018 after returning from my Dublin trip, I found myself obsessively watching Rainbowholic’s YouTube Channel with her Kawaii Journaling videos. Whenever I got off work and even when I was sick in bed the week of Christmas, I completely binged her videos. I also felt so inspired by them as well. I was so inspired I went and bought myself a Hobonichi Techo Journal as well as some stationery. I was worried that I wouldn’t stick to this new hobby but once I got my stuff, that worry was no more!

For me, journaling has become “me time” and so I make sure to find time every week to sit and reflect during the day or week. I like to document memories or write inspirational quotes to get me going through the week to work on achieving my dreams.

My favorite part is probably all the stationery! I LOVE Japanese stationery but could never get myself to buy it if I was never going to use it or throw away in a planner later. But that will not be the case for these journals so, now I can enjoy all the kawaii stationery!

Thanks for reading and perhaps this will inspire you to start your own journaling project or pick up a new hobby this year ❤
